Ulta Beauty Redesign
My design for Ulta Beauty seeks to create an inviting and vibrant space that embraces the needs of the modern Gen-Z shopper while enhancing the overall shopping experience. Recognizing the need to build upon the store’s existing bright and welcoming atmosphere, my design aims to introduce more intentional use of color and a dynamic, intuitive layout that enhances the customer’s journey. Key to the design is a structured and guided walkway, addressing the lack of clear navigation observed in the existing space Rather than promoting browsing, the floor plan will facilitate the streamlined, intentional shopping experience that Gen-Z values. By having areas dedicated to showcasing pre-selected, trend-driven items, the store will merge convenience with thoughtful exploration. Ultimately, this design for Ulta Beauty is a reflection of the Gen-Z ethos—embracing diversity, wellness, and self-expression—while providing a seamless and memorable retail experience.
